Dumbest question ever....

Hi.

Where, for lordy's sake, are the menus?

The 'Help Center' describes using the view menu or other such menus for different things - but where!? How?

The only menu I can find is Esc = End flight, continue flying or flight analyis.

Where exactly are these mysterious menus?

Now I just have to figure out why my screen goes black and I have to turn the monitor on and off...

need updated video drivers?? or they need to be rolled back???

Had to be rolled back...

Partly my mistake, I figured FSX was running at its max resolution, as it was at the top of the res' list. Thus I was getting dark bands down the side.

Found the newest driver for the vid' card, no difference. Found a driver for the monitor (Samsung) and still no difference. Eventually noticed the setting was wrong, cranked it up and that fixed the problem.

Then discovered another problem - my picture viewer was all yellowish. Every photo on my pc looked yellow. Turned out to be the monitor driver!

Had to change the RGB profile to something else to fix it, which happily I discovered on a blog.

Am looking forward to getting back into FS, been away from it for over a year now (FS9)
