Acceleratiom F-18 problem

Occasionally, when I fly the default acceleration F-18, the airspeed is locked at 48kts throughout the whole flight. This is both on the HUD and backup airspeed indicator.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and/or knows how to correct it.

Hmmm, on the default HUD? Don't fly that plane much, but in the real one, the minimum airspeed the hud will register is 48 knots. If I remember correctly, the stock plane doesn't have this feature, but it could be that a updated hud is glitching.

That's really strange... When you press Shift+Z do you see a speed higher than 48 kts - it's the number just before 'KIAS'? Also, I assume you are using the new HUD?

Nope, the Shift-Z menu also has the speed locked at 48 KIAS.

and yes, I am using the mos recent HUD that has been posted on simviation.
