FSX including FSX Steam version.

Callsigns

how do i change the callsigns for the different aircraft. example i have the Bell Eagle Eye UAV and it's callsign is "Experimental TR93" i can change the TR93 part, but how do i change it from Experimental to something like Eagle Eye??

Joe,

The 'Experimental' does not come from the ATC_Airline= (callsign), but from an invalid or missing ATC_type= entry in the aircraft.cfg file.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

I have been trying to get a specific Canadian airline callsign for a while and have not had much luck. This is the first that I have heard of EditVoicePack X. Dave, does the basic program contain more callsigns, airport names and aircraft types than currently in FSX and FSX acceleration pack?
I have learned alot from this site and a year ago modifying with EditVoicePack would of been a scary thing to me, but now this sounds(no pun intended) interesting.

Westside,

Yes, the EditVoicePack will add hundreds more to each catagory.

As an example, an airlines.cfg with all default callsigns is 3kb, after EPV update it's 50kb.
