FPS meter?

Postby C170b » Fri Oct 30, 2009 11:10 pm

Is there a way to measure my FPS while in flight?
If so how do I get it and when I'm done get rid of it? (nasty little red letters louse up screenshots ;D ;D )
Thanks,

Something like Control+Z (or Shift+Z) should bring up some information about your location, acceleration and speed. Press the same key combination a few more times and it should display your current FPS. Press the combination enough times, about 3 or 4 times, and the text will go away.

Thanks for the answer!
I've got my target fps set at 50, and I'm guessing that I'm pretty close to it, but now I'll be able to know!
Thanks again,

if you press SHIFT + Z, 3 times, you will get all info about your flight. if you press it 1 more time, it will all disappear. for your screenies.   also.......... for your screenies, if you see a shot that looks AMAZING, and you do not want to have to toggle it on and off for your screenies, just crop out the whole top of the pic where the red letters are. Granted you loose a slight portion of your pic, but you wont be showing us the red info.  I do this to 99% of my pics anyways.
