Good afternoon all...

Couple of question:

I downloaded the new version of "nHancer Advanced nVidia Control Utility" and it is in my program files and at the bottom of my screen.
Does this program work automatically when I start FSX?

I bought and downloaded "Flight 1 Software Ground Environment X USA Canada Alaska" and I believe it is installed but I do not see it in the Scenery Files for FSX.
Is that normal?

Also when I installed this program there were four (4) boxes to check off.  I checked off the first one and it said installed but I do believe the next three (3) are payware products again. 
Would anyone know about this?

Also is the download "Tongass" payware only?

Bush Flying and float flying now is starting to look better since I downloaded "Snow Dog Tours" which does show up in the Scenery Library and I am using "Nick" settings for FSX.
They work great.   :)

I am wondering about increasing the "General Aircraft settings" from 59% to 75%. 
I am hoping to see more float aircraft landing and taking off.

Again this electronic gizmo is starting to look better so thanks in advance for all the help and comments.       ;)

As for the GEX part, It won't show up in scenery files as it is sort of put into FSX in a manner that cannot be turned on and off. The 4 boxes you can tick are included with the purchase. GEX was my favorite purchase so far, as it does not tend to slow up performance as much as other payware.
The most noticable difference that I saw right away was between dusk and dawn and low and slow enough to take in the sights. Of course there is more to it than just that.

I should add the last two boxes wont harm anything but they are really made for ultimate terraine users. I have them loaded but I stopped using UTX untill I get better hardware.

Okay Steve here is my problem:

No new updates...checked twice.

I installed selected options. Four (4)
Done

Message error saying:
Problem detecting a required texture folder or an add on product does not exist.
Check selected ground environment texture options and verify any installed add-ons.
Only works with Flight 1 Ultimate Terrain X USA or Canada & LUX (Custom Landclass Layer)  enabled.

GEX Enhanced UTX/LUX Textures.
Requires Custom landclass installed.

Question:
What is Custom Landclass as I do not see it on Flight 1s site of products.

Now do I need to purchase something else for this product to work?

I have Flight 1s Ultimate Terrain Canada & Alaska.  It has a yellow Piper Cub on float on the front of it and I think it is only for FS2004 and of no use for FSX.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Now here I thought this bloody electronic gizmo and I were going to get along together.

This is one of those moments when I wish NickN would pop in! I have UTX that is fine with FSX. (You've mentioned FS9). I thought landclass was in the UTX settings. (It's been 5 months since I've used UTX.) Some one might be kind enough to clarify things soon.

Good afternoon all...

Okay I have logged into FlightSim.Com and successfully downloaded Part 1 and Part 2 textures and they are installed.

System looks good and FS Water Configurator seems to work great.  Ground Environment X USA-Canada seems to be working but I still get that above error. I checked all four (4) boxes but I think the top two are only working.  Not sure.

Other than that I am a happy camper.   ;D
