What a Great Flight!

Postby jwenham » Sat Aug 22, 2009 10:01 pm

Well it doesnt happen often enough but I just finished a GREAT little flight in my Super 80 by CoolSky. Loaded up 50% fuel full load of souls and filed my flight plan from Geneva (LSGG) to Fiumicino (LIRF). This is a great 400 mile flight and had great scenery to look at, mountains, coastline, ocean, awesome real world weather using FEX, UTX, and UT2 @ 80% ai to draw it for me. Everything went PERFECT from TO to Landing the bird safely in Rome Italy. So if you guys are looking for a great 400 miler with some good sites give it a try. Going to make the return trip tomorrow and hope for good luck on that trip. GREAT FUN! :) :) :)

Yeah sometimes we hit the jackpot and loose ourselves in the glory of FSX on a wonderful flight filled with fun and beautiful scenes, other times we punch our monitor in anger :D

I really need to get a good payware airliner like Level-D, Captain Sim or Wilco... All i have is a few GA aircraft and default airliners (But they're no fun are they now)

The default Boeing 737 and 747 are very fun. They are the two of the few jets I will fly in FS.

Dude! That's an undertaking. Why did you skip New Zealand? Or is it just not on the map?

Yes, Geneva is nice, but I REALLY prefer taking off/landing at Sion, much more challenging and beautifull ;) But much smaller too :/

I did a touch and go in Antarctica on one of my round the world flights, with my iFly747...and got my southernmost airport badge... 8-)

Now to find the northernmost!
