But with very little practice, installing an add-on is second nature, and done in the blink of an eye.

That "blink" took me weeks to learn. Some still bomb on me the first time, but I have enough experience to eventually figure out what I did wrong. If it's too tough, I just pass on that airplane...

It must have been one of those "Insert tongue in left ear while whistling Dixie"  add-ons.  If it isn't "add effects to "effects folder", sound to "sound folder" and vehicle to appropriate "SimObject folder", I usually skip over it too.

not all airplanes are created equal. i recently download,: convair by brett henderson, antonov 225 by thomas ruth and tomcat by dino cattaneo and they were top quality.i only have intel pentium 4 with graphic card ati 3800 hd and the textures look beautiful vc work great. just to compare not judging i also downloaded lockheed electra from team kbt and it look like cardboard on my screen and i know it's a lot of work to create. so i think it's more about the way the planes are designed that gave them the look or not. but as i said i salute all those who have the talent and the altruism of working on these planes and giving it for free for us to play. thank you all of you.jean
