Airbuses' speed hold. How to switch ON?

[color=#0033cc][size=14]On any of airbus panels when i try to swith the speed hold ON it just does't work.

I drag the mouse over the speed knob to see the message "hold switch is OFF". Then i click on the centre of the knob to turn ot ON and it never turns ON.

You have to turn on the "Auto Throttle" switch.  It's the switch marked "ATH" right under the "AP" switch.
