Did you read the Flight Operating Manual for the Aircraft...like real Pilots do, before start-up?

Time for flying lessons on the Cessna 172 Trainer?

..it is a fact that most aircraft control, etc, questions can be answered by studying the Aircraft Operating Manual, (often on the Knee-board).

Its surprising how many (new) Flight Simmers by-pass this useful information, pre-flight...;)...!

Many of them leap straight into a Jumbo Jet before spending many hours learning the ropes in a General Aviation Trainer (Cessna 172) and therefore run into various problems which spoils their enjoyment of the Game Simulator..;)...!

Its so much more fun, and educational, trying to do "it" correctly... ;D...!

you are absolutely right fozzer......but....then again......there are a few, unless i'm the only one, who, in my case, since fs98, love to fly purely for the visual joy and gratification....watching the advances in technology, rendering some of the most breathtaking sceneries and aircraft modeling....just show me where to push the go button....and i'm off....my heart beating double time, to support the grin on my face.....like jonathan livingston seagull........do i feel guilty?.....am i ashamed???......well.....yes.....a little. but that is the burden i'm happy to live with.....god bless fs and all the simmers.....cheers, vic

Yes, just start in another aircraft and start the engine on that if it is not yet running. If it is, shut the engine down, then restart it. Then you can switch to the Concorde and the engines should start.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
