Mike Jurcag's MIG-21

Postby Luther86 » Mon Jul 06, 2009 6:11 pm

I have just uploaded Mike Jurcaga's MIG 21 and several of the guages are missing. Ihave double checked to make sure ev erything was installed and even reinstalled the entire package but I still have the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the model is gorgeous and I would really like to fly with the guages.

I think you mean Ivan Jurcaga. I downloaded the MiG 21 posted here to check it out. http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=64&page=24&mark=5476

All the required gauges are included in a folder named MiG21F13 (inside a folder named gauges). Paste the complete MiG21F13 folder either into your FSX\Gauges folder or the Panel folder of the MiG 21.

Thanks Hagar. It is Ivan's model....not sure why I typed Mike. If memory serves I was half in the bag at the time of the post. Originally I had simply opened the mig21 folder and selected all files to copy over into gauges. However, when I copied the entire folder over, it DID solve the problem. Thank you for the help. This model is soo much nicer than a previous MIG-21 model I had.

Glad that fixed it. Just to explain, the MiG21F13 folder is what is called an XML gauge, These can be configured in a CAB file like the default gauges or an ordinary folder like this one. The XML files & BMP images inside the folder must remain in there to be recognised by FSX.
