B727-200 problem

Postby manesag » Thu Jul 02, 2009 9:54 pm

My beautiful Boeing 727-200 from Alrot has a little problem with the engines. When you run up the engines for takeoff the game pauses for a little for like 5 seconds then it continues to run up. And when you dont do anything it is too heavy to takeoff at Honolulu International Airport you will start at runway 4L or 4R if you are heavy. To rotate you will need to get to 250 knots or else you cant get into the air AKA CRASH

The pause during spool-up spunds like a computer issue..

I just took that 707 to Honolulu International, myself..

Runway 04L is not even 7000' long, though that is certainly enough for a 707 to get airborne, even fully loaded. I'd be using the longer runways

Ok the B707 problem is just the engines iI dont really care. Its when am taking off with the B727 i have flaps down 1 or 2 notches down I firewall it (damaging the engines not good) and i need to get to 250 nots before the takeoff roll. Even on the longest runway I fly into the water. To take off i either 1. Firewall the engines for 1 to 2 minutes check N1 and if its high parking brake off run down the runway or 2. Take out all the load except the captain, co pilot and flight engineer  :-/

You can't take off because you're not hooked up to the catapult.  ::)

Manesag,,,  I posted that I took off on the 7,000 foot runway, at Honolulu, in the 727.. full load.. no problem  ::)

The only thing I can imagine, is that you are not trimmed for takeff...  I got up and climbing with runway to spare, at ~ 130KIAS.

I'm not sure what I can help with..
