opps! I think I broke it!

Postby EI678 » Sun Jun 28, 2009 11:08 am

hey all,

quite new to the world of simulation and not fully sure about dwnloading stuff.

I have a small problem that I need help with! :'(  The avionics in my default Boeing 737 are not working, there is nothing in the displays at all, including the VC. Everything else is fine though, any ideas?? :-?

I downloaded textures from Simviation recently and purchased Wilco Airbus Vol 2, would this affect it?

Hope someone can help as I like flying the B737, and sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

many thanks garymbuska
no i looked for the non-existent avionics switch in the default FSX B737 and I ran the FSX Disks and nothing happened. I don't understand what I could have done wrong as all I did was added a piece of code to the file (for the texture), this is a common occurence! Any other ideas anyone?

Google and Wilco may help;

http://208.109.106.108/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7565

http://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fusea ... rt_airbus2

The strange thing is why did airbus install affect b737?  i have had problems installing everything, with vista, but never had a payware affect a default a/c.

something had to have happened to the b737....was it textures for b737 you were downloading?  post exactly the text and any other instructions you were supposed to do.  sometimes some freewares simply will not work...this seems more common to me since vista... r u using vista by chance?   ;D
