Having Trouble With Seeing Add on Airplanes

The last three times I have added airplanes I have had trouble seeing the paint.  They show up in the simulator but with no paint.  They seem to default to all white.

I can see them with the correct paint in the 'select aircraft menu', but they show up as all white in the simulator.

I have acceleration installed and a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS graphics card.

I would appreciate any advise you an offer.

Just a guess: have you checked the DX10 mode in FSX? If so try unchecking this box!
