Help with low FPS and graphics errors when panning

Postby ReVolut1on » Wed May 27, 2009 7:56 am

Hi all!

[s]I just yesterday installed FSX on my new computer. Everything's running fine, exept a few things.

Well, first off, V-sync doesn't work. I have turned it on in nHancer (profile and global). Still doesn't appear to be working. VERY BAD tearing.

Second, some addons seem to have weird glitches. My PMDG MD-11 won't work. After installation FSX just crashes on startup and reports some fatal error. I had to reinstall FSX, since repair didn't work, nor uninstallation of the MD-11.

Also my FlyTampa St. Maarten complete acts weirdly. There are FSX Splash-screens all over TNCM airport. I noticed that my feelthere Embraer plane has the same thing----> When i select night and go to a airport with the embraer, wings and gears are textured with FSX Splash-screens.

WTF? Can anybody help?

DX10 mode?

If so read what I posted about Nhancer settings and DX10

DX10 has NO Nhancer support at all... you are on your own with DX10

We need a lot more information than what you posted

What OS are you running?
If Vista does it have SP1 installed?
Which version of FSX are you running? SP1/SP2?

Yeah DX10 mode. I actually read your guide on how to setup FSX correctly and some CFG tweaks

Ah thanks, I will read that thread. It's a shame Vsync cannot be used. Guess I just gotta live with it until they release FSXI with (hopefully) fixed DX10 mode.

Your guides are awesome man!

EDIT: That's the EXACT same post I read when I set up the FSX  ;D. Gotta read it again a bit more carefully.

get the cards out of SLI.. sli is worthless to FSX.. you dont get anything out of it

Past that I would need to see the settings that are being used for the scenery/traffic/weather tabs. i7 is not a 'free-for-all" to 100% FSX sliders

bufferpools set to 490 is olny needed for systems that show SOUND CRACKLE issue.. otherwise 100MB on a 1GB card is fine and some do not need it at all

even with i7 a 80 TBM is more than enough
