FSX Fatal errors

Postby Brett Hill 2 » Tue May 19, 2009 5:41 pm

I have recently done a complete reinstall of FSX and all of the freeware addons together with my small stack of payware Addons. It was about 3 weeks ago since I did this reinstall of FSX and ever since then I have been getting fatal errors and then FSX restarts itself. I have noted a particular place and time when I get fatal errors to be when I try to load the 2D cockpit for the first time in the beechcraft Beechjet 400XP from Eaglesoft. I know for a fact I have never had any problems with this aircraft before and for some reason it gives me a fatal errors every time now. This is just one of the many occasions its happened to me. It even happens when I im just simply flying a default jet. Im wondering whether this would be a conflict in my system or something alike. Iv tried changing the paging in my system from a considerable amount to a small amount and still no change. My If anyone knows of a fix for this issue please let me know. My Computer spec is listed below incase it may help.

Windows Vista Home Prenium 32bit
Intel Quad core Q6600 CPU
ASUS 8800GTX 768mb GPU
3gb 667mhz Memory
ASUS P5N32 SLI-Prenium motherboard
1x 250gb HD with the OS on it
1x 320GB HD with just FSX itself installed on it
1x 80GB HD for storage of any files and documents.
580W PSU
Antec case with plenty of cooling

thanks for your help

Yes I have had fsx running perfectly on this system before with the same addons... all I have done is simply reinstalled it all during a cleanup. The error is just a box which says fatal error and Then It says 'fsx is restarting'.

I might also add that I have tried using Regcure the program to fix this as many other websites suggested as I googled the problem to help me find a solution to this. But in this instance It hasn't done anything to help cure this fatal error

I hope you know what you are doing to use a program like regcure is something like walking into a room filled with highly flammable liquids and gas with a lit match.
Needles to say the outcome is not pretty.
After you have uninstalled FSX you must run a separate program to reset your system check out this link
