Several minor problems

Postby Flying Trucker » Sun May 10, 2009 9:02 pm

Good evening all... :)

Just a couple of quick problems I have.

1--I really can't seem to see a movement in the "EGT" Guage in most

Doug,

I've installed the 337, 2004 original aircraft plus the 2nd FSX update, here:http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=61&page=18&mark=4541

1. If you're not seeing EGT movement when adjusting mixture, check your Aircraft>Realism Settings. If Automixture is enabled you won't see gauge movement, regardless of mixture setting, as the sim is keeping the mixture optimized.

2. Nav/Gps 'light'-Panel.cfg is missing the nav/gps annunciator. Add this line to the bottom of the [window.0] section..

gauge40=Cessna!Nav_GPS_Annunciator,

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Brett and Dave... ;)

Things seem to be back in order now thank you both very much however I do have one more question and I am not sure if it should be here or in "Real Aviation" for better education for all.

Aircraft: Mike Stone's C-337/O-2 for FS2004 and C-337 2nd FSX update.

The civilian 337 has the same EGT/FFlow gauge in both FS2004 and FSX.

Good morning all... :)

Thanks for the feed back gentlemen.  I now have a better understanding of the idea on how aircraft that I am privileged to download and use arrive in the download section.

I guess it would be wishful thinking on my part that all the aircraft manufacturers and those that manufacture helicopters as well would each put together a disk of each and every aircraft/helicopter they ever manufactured and supply it to the public even as payware.   ::)   :)

HMMM...I think that would be great publicity for them.   :)

Okay I will stop dreaming now and come back to planet earth.   ;D
