WOAI

I installed a bunch of WOAI packages, and they work but is it normal for the default AI to go away?

Thanks, but what do they do? Do they bring back some (or all ) of the default AI? Also if I delete the WOAI planes out of simobjects/airpanes will the default AI come back?

Thanks SOOOOO much, C170B

In my experience with AI, the default only disappeared if I deleted the bgl for it.  The WOAI and other addons just supplemented the default.

I deleted the default anyway, I was tired of hearing Landmark, etc on the radio.

Just to clarify things....

WOAI traffic*bgl files are compliled in FS2004 format (as are MAIW and others). While FSX will use either FSX or FS2004 formatted traffic files, it will not use them at the same time. If FSX sees FS2004 traffic files it uses them and ignores the FSX file(s). You lose the default traffic, both the ai aircraft and ai boat (ships and ferries).

What either of the 2 utilities mentioned

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
