My fsx has black clouds and i dont want to reinstall.     can i fix this or have you had this issue.

Well, the textures may have bugged out somehow... try fiddling with the texture and cloud detail sliders in the display settings, to try to force them to reload...

Also, did you install any addons prior to that? or did it start happening out of the blue? The textures might have become bugged due to some addon...

If all else fails, you might just have to take it and reinstall  ;)

Actually before considering a reinstall with FSX, try running the repair option using the installation discs. If textures have become mucked up this ought to fix the problem without a complete reinstallation.

i put in acceleration.  now im reinstalling acceleration.  Oh when i unstalled accel i booted up fsx and the clouds were good.  I also asjusted the sliders from very low to ultra high with no avail.  So all should be well now ill give you an update after accel instalation!

Ok accel has installed and i ahve black clouds so..... tonight i will do a repair and se what happens

did a repair with no luck so now im just going to make shure and reinstall
everthing. :-/
