Setting up a throttle to control two engines

Postby machineman9 » Tue Apr 14, 2009 6:28 am

My friend recently got the Saitek Cyborg X joystick and it has two throttles on it (You can either lock the two throttles together to become one larger throttle, or use them independantly)

He is just wondering how he could set it up so the left throttle controls engines 1 & 2 and right controls 3 & 4 for a 4 engine plane, or how it could control engines 1 & 2 or whatever. For just one engine he could lock the two throttles together so that is fine.

I've heard that people have done it, we just aren't sure how.

Cheers

go into control axis in the controls menu.  Then select an axis for engine 1.  select one for 2 but use the other throttle.  someone may be able to explain better
