Missing File

Recently i had a problems with my windows XP being corrupt due to me unintstalling IE 7 and 8.  well, I had to reinstall Windows, which means that all files on my hardrive got errased as well, 1 of them being MSXML 4.  Is there any possibility that I can explore the DVD's and just copy the file to the C:\  or do i really HAVE TO reinstall FSX?

{please do not tell me I have to reinstall!! it takes like 8 hours for it to install.}

oh yea.. you hafta reinstall but there is a way to do it and maintain the old install but its nots simple
