wondering if this would speed up my load times

i was wondering if i would go into my scenery library and uncheck sceneries that i would not be using for that flight....would that speed up my loading times? there are times it takes almost 10 minutes from when i click "fly now" and to the time that the load bar reaches 100%.

Yes, quite possibly improve your framerate, too.

Yes, it does help.
i uncheck Oceana, South America, africa, & Orient- I never go there.
