I have a single core processor, 1 gig of ram, and a very modest graphics card and I have FSX running quite nice. So, yes... your setup should run FSX. What graphics card do you have? That would be the real question.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Yes, FSX will work.

Will it look amazing? no.

Its a game of give and take, you just have to figure out what you want to give up and what you want from the sim:)

Welcome to SimV!

If running XP, I think vista works the same, go to start>Run>  then type dxdiag into the box go to display and look under the name, it should state what card it is.  And did you just get this computer?  If so a link to the site if you got it online.  Most computers come with a grahpics card, though I have still seen many with onboard grahpics.

Go to start and press 'Run' (Or on vista type this into the white box at the very bottom of the start bar)

Type in dxdiag

This runs the DirectX Diagnostic, which basically gives you system information.

Probably on the second tab at the top of this pop-up will have Display or some such. Here it will tell you the model and make of the graphics card or chipset you have.

I am guessing you have a laptop from the processor so I have doubts about the game running very well.

Cessna;

Welcome to the forums as I see you are new here!

Just want to point out that this is an international forum and many members translate the posts into their native language so it helps if you use complete words when you write on the forum.

Besides it takes less then half a second to type "you" and it looks a whole lot better that way  8-)
