Accelaration EH-101 Question/Problem

Does anybody know why the power surges up and down automatically in that thing?  I've been flyin the Jetranger alot honing my helicopter skills and want to start doin some slingloads but with the power surges in the EH-101 it sure makes it difficult to hover or fly stable.  I tried the fix on SimV found here http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=65&page=0&mark=611  but I didn't like the way it made it fly at all, although the power surge was gone.  Any help would be appreciated
