FSX SP1 and SP2 Confuson. Please Help.

I've just built a new computer and installed FSX and Acceleration follwing Nick's installation guide.

I'm confused with the SDK service packs.

I have installed Acceleration, so i have FSX SP2 installed right?

Why when i go to install Acceleration SDK, do i have to install SDK SP1a?

Is the SDK Service pack a different thing to the FSX Service pack?

While exploring the Acceleration DVD, i can see a file there named SP1, but there is no SP2 file.

I want to confirm i have FSX updated to service pack 2 before i install any updates, but i don't know how to do it. How can i find out which FSX service pack is installed?

I don't think MS could have made it any more confusing!

Simple, Acceleration installs both SPs

You must install SP1a and then follow up with SP2...

...SP2 simply updates most of the SP1a content, but the main reason is that this way no one who didn't buy the Deluxe edition or Acceleration can "get" the SDK for nothing...  ::)
