Need an instructor

Postby mcofield04 » Wed Feb 18, 2009 4:54 pm

Hello to all. I am new to Fight Sim and aviation as a whole. I am seeking further advancement and knowledge just on the Simulation level. I know some knowledge, however, with me, I like to learn from a person rahter than a computer. I learn better with words and instructions from a person rather than following instructions from a lesson. Not taking anything away from the learning center in FSX, but, I would prefer someone to talk me through and let me know every little detail about flying and all the instruments it takes to fly. Of course, a person can tell and do more things than a computer can. A person can give you little hints and pointers that a computer can't. Basically, I would like someone to help me along with this and answer any questions and/or comments I may have. If anyone is up to the task, please do not hesitate to let me know if you are able to do. If you are interested or have any questions, please PM as soon as times allows for you. Thank you in advance.

Happy Sim-'ing'

I think were all here willing and able to help so just ask any questions you have!  By using the forum I think you'll find you'll get more answers and discussion which will not only give you hints to how to do things but also help you understand why things happen.

Have you tried the lessons in the learning center? Its a lot like having a personal flight instructor since he walks you through everything, and shows you everything you need to know. I think its much easier to learn it there first, then just asking about it and reading it here. Since you'll actually be doing it in the sim as he walks you through it.

The only thing is the lessons can sometimes have issues, and of course you cant ask the computer questions, but if you ever get confused with anything, we're here to help.

Just start low and slow, and concentrate on learning the basics before zipping off into IFR flights in a big jet ;)

Read through the flight training series down in the flight training board.

Welcome to SimV... 8-)
