Where/how can you see the animals?

Where/how can you see the animals?

I notice on the back cover of the FSX box they show a herd of elephants. Animals are also listed in the SimObjects file. So how, when, or where exactly are they seen? I've flown over several regions of Africa looking for them...but no joy. Are they part of a particular mission file?

You can see them when flying the Game Park Patrol mission!  ;)

yeah, come to think of it, i think i never saw one of those alleged migrating flocks of birds they advertised about when FSX came out...

are they part of air traffic or something??  ;)

The (default) birds/eagles indicate termals - you can choose in the settings how termals are displayed...

If you turn on "Visible Natural Thermals" you will see birds everywhere. Other animals...only in the mission. ;)

I was flying around Sierra Nevada and spotted 2 eagles.

They were big enough to possibly be condors.

Actually, they look like two Special-Ops Cessnas'  :D

These appear when you set thermals to show as natural. ;)

Thanks, everyone. I see the hawks around my home airport now, and chased the elephants in the park patrol mission. :)
