I had the same problem when I installed a low-end video card.  What are the specs of your computer?

Yeah.. that's most likely a video-card problem. Low-end cards have trouble rendering animated parts..

Re-boot. This occurance has happend several times to me when I add planes to FSX, and I've found that the fix is as simple as re-booting. Try it, it works. If this is the same problem I'm thinking of then it only happens to stock FSX planes. The landing gear can be screwed up, wings go from horizontal to verticle(and no I'm not talking about the F/A-18A's wing folder ;)), and other parts can be relocated. I don't know for sure why this happens, but for me whenever I re-boot it takes care of the problem. Good luck. :)
