New computer problem

Postby pickup » Wed Feb 11, 2009 12:29 pm

Hello,
I bought a new computer to run FSX. I have installed the Accelerator part as well. The problem I am having is this:

I flew the defalult B-737 from Vancouver to Seattle as I was about 1/2 mile from touch down at Seatac,  I started getting black streaks on the monitor and then black squares and then it kicked the game out and gave me this error message.

"Your computer has run out of available memory. Please restart flight simulator and select different graphics, scenery or traffic setting."

So I thought maybe there is too much graphics in this area  so last night I flew from Kelowna B.C. to Yellowknife in the NWT and about 1/2 mile again from touch down at Yellowknife it kicked the game out and give me the same error message.
Has anyone else run into this problem and is there a way to fix it so I can complete the trips I take.
Here are my computer specs.

its a ram issue not a gpu memory issue, Something to do with address space. Your pc wont see all that 4gig ram wth xp 32 bit, only can see abt 3.3 but it needs a command entererd. Cant remember what it is off the top of my head. Check out xp optimising guide above.
