This is nothing more that yet another third-party trying to capitalize on the closing of MS/ACES. There have been many third-party development houses that've been around for over a decade! Eaglesoft Development Group is one of them: http://eaglesoftdg.com

What I don't understand is "secured the rights to develop add-ons".
AFAIK, anyone can produce an add-on for FSX without "securing rights" - just make it and release it.
Maybe if you use the "FSX" in the official title you need some permissions but the wording of the add on it's own would make me think twice before I spend my hard earned $$.
I would trust Eaglesoft before I would trust any 3PD who makes such a claim
I seriously doubt there is any official licensed product coming although I do not know that for sure and I do think Bill is correct.. its just another dope taking advantage of a loss to our hobby
Money to some people cancels scruples/morals out completely
It sounds like just another aircraft, not an expansion pack. There might be some missions coming along with it, but that's no big deal.
The article says this Mamba studio formed in November 2008. That's 3 months ago... and they issue a plane which is ALREADY available in the FSX market (ever heard about the RealFilght Hellcat ?)... sounds like a future failure.

As it happens, "Mamba" is simply a new startup publisher, who's "secured the rights" to market RealFlight's existing model.
Mamba's "Press Release" was simply worded cleverly to convey some sort of officially sanctioned status it simply does not have... ::)
