Auto Start engines

Most of my AC have auto start when I begin the sim. Some add ons begin with the engines cold, and for the most part I can get some of them started with ctrl E held. Others, I cant get started for the life of me. Particulary the Canadian Forces DHC-5 Buffalo.  Is there a line in the config setting for auto start for each plane that I need to edit? I can't seem to find it on the sim options. I also have a Dassault Mirage that begins cold, and the panel is in French. I get that one started by luck, as I dont read Frence!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

i dont know how to do this, but i remember people saying once you start with a plane exactly like you want, make it yoru default flight, and it will always start with the engine running.

im pretty sure if you start with a cessna enging running, when you switch to a plane that doesnt have the engine running normally, now it will.
