[quote]I got the VC working but none of the buttons are functioning.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Look at one of my previous posts... you dont have to do anything to the panel.cfg if you dont want to. For me, it was just personal preference. The only thing would be to take out the glassdirt entry. That, along with the 777.gau file in your FSX gauges folder should do the trick. Dont put it in the 777 gauges folder. The gauges should work in FSX. Now, I dont have DX10... so maybe that may cause an issue, but I am running FSX with Accel/SP2 and all works just fine. Im also running on XP.

I did put the gau in the FSX gauges folder....not the 777 folder.

It shouldnt matter if its in the 777's panel folder. As long as its in your main FSX gauge folder. But there is no need for it in the panel folder so you can just get rid of it.

So, lets start from the top. You have the new 777-300, and downloaded all the vc textures, panel, and model. Correct? Now, the other night I tried using the panel.cfg that comes with the 777-200 and added in all my textures and such. I then went to the bottom on the panel.cfg where there is an entry that looks like this;

gauge00=Pky_glassdirt!Pky_glassdirt,

Yes it looks like the VC without the gauges like the pic you put up.

To tell the truth I'm not sure if I DL'd the right stuff.  MOst of the link I saw for the 300 were small like textures.  I can't tell by the flilnames what is what?  Some are 2 meg , and some are 12meg or so.  I'm not sure which one or ones make a complete aircraft.  Most of the folks who develop aircraft put everything in one link????  Guess I got a lot to learn about Poskey stuff??

If I could get the correct links to DL.....I think I could get it to work based on what I have learned from this thread. ;)
