GPS in DG808S

:-/ Getting frustrated........................
Trying to get the GPS to show up in the Virtual Cockpit.
in the DG808S. Downloaded the new one.
Garmin GPSMAP295 Ver 1.0 FS2002 GPS replacement.

I am running FSX do I need to code it different.
I want it to show up in virtual.

First of all, you cannot run a FS2002 gauge in FSX. Period.

Secondly, you cannot "add" anything to the virtual cockpit. The best you can do is create a new 'popup window' in which to load the gauge you want, then open it while in the VC.

FSX already has the Garmin 295.

I saw it in the coding but not on the screen.
I just figured out how to access it.
Now to see if it has a hot key to hide and unhide.
I found a button on the normal screen but not the Vscreen.
