After some quick tests, this scenery is really cool.
It even gets an ATC tower !

The only problem is Chicago... the city itself is nice, but there's something in O'Hare Intl that really KILLS my fps. I don't even get an impact like that in Seattle... So I have to avoid looking to the west, only North, South and East !

Awesome shot. ;)

Daley couldn't find anyone to lease it to,like everything else, so he got rid of it for his "park". Just what we need, another park.

Gotta admit it though, Ohare is going to be one heck of an airport when it's done. The new (2nd?) tower is already up and there's a ton of construction going on.

Someones getting rich. ;)
The mind is like a parachute...it only works when it's open.

[quote][quote]The problem of the Meigs scenery for FSX is that the author forgot to "clean the place" before adding his buildings, and unfortunately in FSX there is a lot of autogen there, which appears on top of the tarmac...

Maaan how much I'd like to takeoff from Meigs in a Camel in FSX, turn left then try to pass between those antennas then turn right to line up with the runway again... good times...

I do not see that church on my Meigs setup.

I am using meigs_fi.zip from Flightsim.com by Pedro Vendeira, Bob Familton and Dick Stellweg.

You might want to give that version a try.

I've just downloaded that version and still got the church on aprons.

I have uninstalled other scenery but the church refuses to disappear......I know its Christmas time but ......well not seen anything like it. Can anyone suggest anything. In previous attempts I have put exclude polygons in scenery but to no avail.   :o   :o

Maybe you scenery boffs might  know of the problem.

Thanks in advance

Since I was not able to duplicate what you are seeing I would have to suspect a "rogue" bgl from some other enhancement - perhaps hundreds or even thousands of miles away.

If you have a lot of scenery installed you can always disable them and if the church is then gone, add them back in 5 or 6 at a time until the church reappears.

Glad to hear you found the culprit.

The coordinates were sure a way off for that church placement!

You might want to post the name of the enhancement which caused the problem and if you found the particular bgl that was problematic, the name of it also - just in case some other simmer has the same problem now or in the future.

Merry Christmas!

It was North England Landmarks Vol 1a package, the offending bgl was StMary100.BGL.

Cheers and hope that may help anyone in the future

It is "possible" that you could decompile that offending bgl and correct the coordinates (if you know them) and then recompile it so the church would show up in the correct place.

In any case I certainly would contact the authors of that package and advise them of what you discovered so they can officially correct it.

Cheers.
