start with a processor other than AMD on a decent viceo card and memory, then hit the top of the forum for how to optimize the system

then tune FSX for the hardware

I understand there wil be limits to hardware but flying blury is simply not something I can do or accept

Nick I have read all your tweaks and setup advice, and applied them on a fresh install, I guess sometimes the abundance of info I get lost as to were to look LOL. I know my CPU is the bottleneck what settings are directly related to CPU so I can turn them down. I have traffic set at 50 for airlines (WOAI) 50 for GA, and 5 for cars, no boats, ferries at all. I forgot to mention that Airport density is I think 40 percent.

This may seem like an odd observation, but it's also nice to see different style water-towers besides the same old, turn-of-the-century, grey steel rail road style water tanks.

FOLLOW THE LINK(s) IN THE FIRST POST

SET UP FSX EXACTLY AS I POSTED THEN...

READ BOTH POSTS AND TUNE BY REDUCING SLIDERS BASED ON WHAT I SAID

IF THAT DOES NOT HELP>>> UPGRADE HARDWARE

and if you are trying to fly NYC, LA, MIAMI, CHICAGO or other hard hitting cities with sliders high you best get some hardware and clock it

A Q6600 needs to be at 3.6GHz on a 8800GT minimum to even attempt high sliders in those cities and it will still bog down on that processor clocked    ;)

wow, until you mentioned it, I had never really noticed the lack of lights in Paris. I knew it had some dark spots but it is really bad. I guess I never flew over the city at night low enough to see it.

Please get Paris out fast!!

Thanks!
