and just a follow up:

There are 24 more textures that will come a bit later

They appear to be 'forgotten' night textures by Aces.. and they all missed the night lighting on them.

Its the European 'extruded' city buildings you may see in Paris, Berlin, etc and down in South America, Eurasia, etc

Those are undergoing a lot more work than the others to try and restore them, so, the illuminated versions are not in this package... if we had waited to finish those we would not have made the holiday deadline we were trying for.



So there is more to this but as for when I cant say... they needed a lot of repair work to get them up to speed.

this has nothing to do with GEX

and you are just now finding the enhanced version of GEX?

That was released last feb as a free update to v1.06... its up to v1.08 now

open the GEX interface.. at the top bar the version is displayed.. if it 1.06 to 1.07 there is a patch.. click UPDATES, download the patch offered, close the interface and run the patch installer

that will upgrade GEX to 1.08

and then the options must be run and installed to place the update into FSX

after that a defrag cuz thems a lot of textures gettin moved

What I am talking about is those funky rectangle, triangle and square buildings FSX uses... there are not night lights for them

They appear in Europe.. Paris, Berlin.. etc and will appear in south america too if the landclass calls them


we are fixing those cuz they are dark and have no lights right now
