aircraft initialization failure

Hello all:
I recently installed FSX deluxe on my vista 32bit computer.  I also installed FSX acceleration, Traffic X, Megascenery Phoenix and So-Cal.
When I started FSX for the first time, I began receiving error messages.
The first stated that my graphics had been set to Vista basic (or something like that), then I received an error message stating that
aircreation586SL red (or something like that) had failed to load.  Then there were no aircraft available in free flight or any of the tutorials.
Then, mercifully, the program crashed in a fatal error.  Please help before I shoot my computer.

Before starting FSX, I recommend setting Windows theme to Standard, if on Vista.

That oughta give you some better performance, if anything...
