oh btw..

Dont be tempted to buy any of the Megascenery FS2004 packages, even though they claim they can work with FSX. The Scenery is lower resolution and a bit blurry. If you do buy any, only get the FSX ones.

I tried out an old FS2004 one and it looked crap. lol

Thanks again rikm!
I been up all night flying in REX clouds. I downloaded it last night. It has it's problems but I am satisfied with the product because it dramatically changed my skies for the better. They just need to work on a few issues, the biggest ones being the haze and weather engine issues. Once you get into it it's hard to stay away from the V key.

VFR Photographic Scenery:

My personal view, from using it in FS 2004...!

After purchasing any of it, or installing free versions, I quickly became very disappointed with any form of "VFR Photographic Scenery".

I found that it is is fine for constantly flying at 2000+ feet AGL, but useless when landing, remembering that the scenery is just a FLAT photograph of the surrounding scenery!

Maybe a dream for high-flying Passenger Jets, but bad news for any "low and slow" flyers who frequently land in the VFR Scenery areas!.. :(...!

I abandoned it many years ago, and concentrated on 3D Autogen Scenery!

I prefer 3D Autogen objects...which stick up into the air! ....:-*...!

F..G-BPLF....FS 2004...Low and slow Pilot...;)...!
