This problem is probaly related to your LOGBOOK BIN., which has been a thorn in the side of FSX since the begining. I've been through the same situation your having. It's just been a long time since I've had a problem with the logbook, and I belive what I did was to move my Original logbook BIN. to a safe place ( My Documents ) , fire up the sim and let it write another. This should save you from the uninstall/reinstall dance. If all goes well from what i've learned is that when I end a flight I'll let the sim simmer down for a few mins before I check out the log. Next if the flight has been logged, I'll shut down the sim before I start another flight. And about every 2 flights that get logged in I'll make a copy of the logbook bin., so in case the log decieds to crash me, all you got to do is copy over the log with your saved copy , and you'll only lose 1 or 2 flights instead of all your flights. Hope this helps
