Is it possible? I've got a couple planes that don't have a VC, and I can't fly worth a darn with the 2D cockpit: the views are so limited that using terrain and landmarks for navigation is completely out of the question and landing is a royal pain in the butt. I thought it might be possible, since one plane's panel is aliased to the CRJ700, to copy the CRJ700 Interior model file, rename it to match the 727-200, then editing the model.cfg file. And, of course, it didn't work.

You CAN alias a VC to another airplane, by copying that interior model into the other planes model folder - but only if the plane you are copying it into is FSX Native.
