Newbie: FSX. downloaded new planes. No colours

Hi all
This is probably me being stupid but. I have downloaded a bunch of new planes from the site.  None of them are showing their colours, just grey. Also no guages etc.  Main one I wanted was santa's sleigh.

I have a dual core e7200, HD4850 graphics, 4GB...  all other planes fine just the ones in addon.  Any Ideas.

Hmmm... open FSX, go to settings, customize and look under resolutions... make sure your current resolution is at YYYYxYYYYx32 (Y being your current resolution.) If it says 16, it is set for 16 colors, if 32, 32 colors. Make sure it is on 32. For me and my 22" screen, I run at 1680x1050x32. Running at 1680x1050x16 will make colors weird. First try that then we will look into it more if it doesn't help. Welcome to SimV by the way!!!

32 it is.  All othor colours, planes and scenery are fine just the new planes are in greyscale.
