There might be systems with fantastic performance in FSX, but I don't think FSX can be connected with 'flawless'...

the best one is proabbly Nick's, i believe he's on an oc quad, ddr3 ram and 8800gtx, not 100% sure. to get the best possible one youre gonna prob need to wait a month, maybe less, for an i7 nehalem processor, ddr3 memory and a gtx280, with a professional raid solution. i think itll be hard to top that setup.

FSX on the most amazing systems still crashes etc. Same with windows. ;) But some members here do have systems (NICK) that can run FSX without much fail...(tell us Nick!!)

If you cant wait for Nehalem, then I think the best now would be an Intel Q9650/X48 Board/GTX280(or 8800 Ultra/GTX),DDR3 1600 memory.

It's in a recurring dream I'm having. :)

Some day. ;)

That system will get you running quite well, however it's not the best system out there. It is just one of many setups/configurations which would run FSX well.

It could be build for a fraction of the cost, but for the money it would be better saved for the new technology thats just around the corner.

To have the best of every component just now would cost you a remortgage, only to end up with negative equity.

The best setup for FSX is just around the corner.

6400Mhz FSB says it all.
