Accelerating time.

FSX including FSX Steam version.

Accelerating time.

I tried to search for this on the forum but could not find any hits.  According to MS you can use 'R' to accelerate time.  This does not work for me.  Any ideas?

I believe you press alt in flight and bring up the menu bar at the top of your screen. From there you pick your time compression. 2x up to 16x. That is done in flight.
Edit. Thanks nitro I wasnt even aware of that key command.

Or, if you don't feel like flying, open up your map and drag your aircraft symbol across the world. Try it. See how easy it is?

Do you feel like you acomplished anything? ;D

We should make a newbie guide... touching specifically on 'auto-land' and other things...

I disagree with the newbie guide. I like it better when Andrew responds then I agree with him ;D

Im sure this might be how some newbies fly without all that autostuff..
