...and I would suspect that the Thread originator has already come to the conclusion that joining an Internet Forum is not such a good idea after all!... ...

Why close it? The OP has gone, and likely won't be back. If anything it's shown that all members are responsible people who condemn piracy... which is a good thing.

There isn't! We just don't host it because the association with piracy. The majority of its use is unlikely to be for anything other than convenience & better performance by legitimate FS9 purchasers. IMO, as in FSX & most programs,  MS should never had required the CD to be used & should have released a 'piracy unfriendly no-cd patch' for FS9 a long time ago.

Anyway this thread has run it's course & is deviating from what we should be doing here - talking constructively.  :)
