Loss of sound

I installed an aircraft in FSX this morning and have lost all sound.  The computer sound works normally.  Can anyone help?

Well there might be something wrong in your computer it might not be able to handle the sound.

Make sure all the sound files are there.

Sometimes when im flying and I go through views the sound shuts off so just press Q twice to turn the sound on and off. Although you might of pressed Q before so its been off in that case try pressing Q once and if no sound try agian.

Try this and see if it works:
before you start up your sim, find the main FSX sound folder, and double click on any of the sound files. After you here the sound, close out the sound making program and start FSX and see if you get your sounds back. That it what I have to do every time I want to use the sim
