Everything appears to be working on WOAI but....

Everything appears to be working on WOAI but....

Postby the_sas_man » Sun Sep 21, 2008 7:46 am

but it's not!

I installed net framework, i've installed the airline sprays and WOAI installer. It says everything installed sucessfully and when I look in SimObject folders I can see lots of WOAI folders in there (presumably the plan sprays for Virgin, BA etc that I installed)

But when booting up the game I can't choose the airline to fly. I click all variations but it's still showing the normal ones.

Am I missing something really stupid here?

I'm going insane!

WoAI aircraft are designed as ai aircraft only and are not meant, or designed, to be flown by the user. They will not appear in your select aircraft window.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Is there a package that allows you to fly them?

I mean, it would be great to fly a British Airways jet rather than a World Travel jet!?

Goto SimV's downloads and check out the FSX Civil Jets downloads.

You should be able to find addon aircraft or repaints for the default aircraft in suitable liveries.

If you have FSX with SP2 or Acceleration, start with the 'newest' downloads and work back as some earlier addon aircraft may not be fully compatible with SP2/Acceleration.
