Key commands

Postby expat » Fri Sep 19, 2008 9:24 am

Can anyone tell me where to find the keyboard command file in FSX. I am having problems with FSX remembering my key selections for some hardware that I have. Each time I program said commands in FSX they work fine, but after shut down and then restart, FSX has "forgotten" all the setting that I made and has defaulted to what it wants.

Thanks

Matt

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

The file is 'standard.xml' located in the \Controls\ subfolder in the same location as the FSX.cfg file.

Location of FSX.cfg
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Hi,

Here's a link to a pdf file with all the key commands. It's pretty handy when printed off.  :)
