hey does anyone know what i would have to do to get the launch bar on downloaded carrier capable FSX aircraft to work.  because on most of the aircraft i've downloaded like the F-14's in the F-14D rev 3 package the launch bar wont go down, even though i have a key assigned for that action.

It must have those launch bar parameters set in its .cfg

The F-14d Rev3 was made (i believe) before the FSX carrier capabilities were realized so it was not made with the launch bar.

what would the parameters look like if they were in the .cfg file

The launch bar animation on the nose gear must be part of the model as I understand it.
