Help?

For some reason, the planes won't show up, it leaves a blank page.

I was adding some new aircraft, when I accidentally transfer a folder into a sub-file and I could not find them.

This is the after-match result, can you guys help me check which folder or program I am missing? I really want to start flying ASAP!

I`d hazard a guess that the SimObjects folder is missing the Airplanes folder.  The SimObjects folder usually has at least the following;

Airplanes
Animals
Boats
Groundvehicles
Misc
Rotocraft

I suggest you first check this folder and if any are missing then search the other folders and replace them.

Find the fsx.cfg (turn hidden folders/files on in control panel first), then take a backup copy.  Delete the file and let FSX start to build another. If this doesn`t work and you can`t find anything out of place delete/uninstall the last few third party planes and restart FSX. See if these are choking up the menu.  An alternative is a restore to a date when it last worked correctly, though I don`t particularly like this approach.  If this fails consider a full uninstall and careful reinstall with the third party stuff one at a time to see if any stuff up the install.

FSX rebuilt is still the same. Er, I try to uninstall the 'recent aircraft' that caused this problem and see if its still persist.

Its official. Its not the third party. I remember putting a folder into a sub-folder.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
