Acelleration with FSX Deluxe

Postby FlyingFleming » Thu Aug 14, 2008 11:23 pm

well i installed FSX and it ran fine, then i installed FSX acelleration and well it installed without asking for the product key which i thought was strange, so i tried to start FSX and it said there was a "product activation key error 8-c0000006" and then i goes into demo mode so i thought i would be something easy to fix and i thought at worst i would have to reinstall it so i went into regedit and my upperfilters were fine and its value was PrtMgr so that was obviously not the issue so i thought well i will have to uninstall and reinstall which i tried to do with acelleration but when i tried it said  "microsoft can't locate the uninstaller. taht can happen if you are runing windows in safe mode"(which i am not)

combined they cost me $118 CAN

i dont even care about acelleration i just want want to play FSX

IN conclusion if ANYBODY can help either to get them both running without the screwing up or if anyone can just tell me how to damn delete Acceleration manually i would be very grateful

 Thanks,

try CC cleaner, I have better luck with it's program uninstaller than I do with the stock xp one, then it's reg. cleaner can tidy up any mess it leaves behind. Best part is it's free! ;D
