It was designed to go fast.

I haven't got the A321 specs to hand, so I couldn't comment on what the rotation speed for the A321 should be, but you also need to remember that at 16,000ft, runway 16R/34L (at Denver) is the longest public use runway in the United States.

In that case then your at Denver City (E57) in Texas. Given the fact that you hadn't provided anymore information other than 'Denver' & you have your location under your avatar as 'Colorado', we assumed that you meant Denver Intl (KDEN) in Colorado.

You need to see what the POH provided with your model states as the minimum take-off runway length required for the A321, all I can find on the internet is a stated min T/O runway length of 7220ft & a rotation speed (Vr) of 215 knots, so it looks like if your getting off the ground at E57, then yes, your model is slightly overpowered.

He's referring to the altitude (Elev: 5431) which means he missed the point of your reply.

LOL, this also means that I missed the point of his reply. It nearly made sense though, the runway at E57 is a dash over 5700 at 5780ft.

Another one for the Denver cospiracy theorists to get their teeth into - 'the runway at Denver (Texas) is just over 5700ft, & the altitude at Denver (Colorado) is 5700ft - coincidence???'

Next they'll be telling us that 5700 divided by something & then squared equals 666 - or something.  ;D ;D ;D

Well, I wouldn't know anything about that but I assume that runway length is directly proportional to the elevation of the airport. I don't know if FS simulates the effect of altitude on take-off performance. It's pretty flat around here. My home airport of Shoreham is just six feet above sea level.
